Look to this day!
For it is life,
the very life of life.
Life itself can't give you joy
Unless you really will it;
Life just gives you time and space
It's up to you to fill it.

In its brief course
lie all the verities
and realities of your existence.
Learn to make the most of life,
Loose no happy day.
Time can never bring thee back,
Chances swept away.

Leave no tender word unsaid,
Love while life shall last.
The mill will never turn again,
With water that has past.

For yesterday is already a dream
and tomorrow is only a vision;
but today, well lived,
 makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,
and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Wherever you live,
there are needy people close by.
There is no good reason for refusing to help.
Remember, today is a gift from
God so treat it preciously
after all it is called "The Present"
