GODS LOVE PERSONALIZED
Perhaps the best known verse
about God's love is John 3:16
"For
God so loved , that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life."
God's love is shown in Romans 5:8,
"But
God commended His love toward , in that,
while were yet a sinner, Christ died for ."
This love that God has
given to us is in our hearts
by the Holy Spirit as Rom. 5:5 tells us.
And hope does not make us
ashamed,
because the love of God has been poured
out in our hearts through
the Holy
Spirit given to us.
This love that God gives us, makes us strong
and
we will be able to overcome temptation when it
comes. 1 Cor 10:13"
There hath no temptation
taken
but such as is common to man: but God is
faithful, who will not suffer to be tempted above
that ye are able; but will with the temptation
also
make a way to escape, that may be able to bear it."
(KJV)
The most wondrous thoughts of this love is that
we have became conquerors
just as Paul tells
us in Romans 8:37 Nay,
in all these things we are
more than conquerors through him that loved us."
(KJV).
In the next couple of verses Paul tells us
that
nothing could separate us from this love,
lets see what he said in
Romans 8:39
Nor height, nor depth, nor any
other creature,
shall be able to separate
from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.(KJV)
God's love is so great for us that
He has done
everything, just so
may enjoy that love, even to the
point of sending His only begotten
Son here in this world, that is full
of sin and pervertiness. To become
fully
man, yet He is still fully God,
Jesus left His throne in heaven to
come to earth
as a servant to serve
and save us from ourselves and
our selfish ways. In John
12:47
And if any man hear my words, and
believe not,
I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world,
but to save the
world. (KJV).
Jesus came to save us
because we are
sinners, Romans 3:23 For all
have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God; (KJV)
and
in Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is
death;
but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV).
was spiritually dead because of your sin
and Jesus came and died in 's place,
so that may have eternal life in Christ.
As Romans 5:5
And hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad in our
hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto ." (KJV)
This was done by
God, that we maybe like Him
and love one another as Jesus commanded in
John15:12This
is my commandment,
That ye, , love one another,
as I have loved you.(KJV).
Thus
we fulfill the law as we love one another,
just as Romans 13:10 tells us,
Love
worketh no ill to his neighbor:
therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
(KJV)
God's love goes way beyond our minds grasp
that I find it hard to put into mere words.
Gods word tells it the best, but I'm
but a
lowly sinner, who was saved by this
precious love that God has so
graciously given me.
I would not know what love was if Jesus
had not given me
His love to share,
which I must share His love, so it may be
perfected in me.
Let's look at 1 John 4:12
No man hath seen
God at any time. If we
love one another, God dwelleth in us,
and his love is
perfected in us."
This love must not
be shared with just mere
talk, but by our deeds and our true feelings ,
as
outlined in 1 John 3:18 My little
children,
let us not love in word, neither in tongue;
but in deed and in
truth." (KJV)
Isn't it such a
wondrous thing how God can
do all these things through such a wretch as me,
but
because Christ loves me.... and you ,
we can be assured by His precious Blood
that we are covered with His love just as
He tells us in 1 PETER 4:8"
And above all things have fervent charity
among yourselves: for charity shall
cover
the multitude of sins." (KJV)
The word
charity means agape (love), which is Gods
unconditional love. How do we
receive this love?
It is free! 1 John makes real it simple to understand,
let's
look at 1 John 4:19'
"We love him,
because he first loved us." (KJV)
He
loved us first and it is His love that teaches
us to love. After all the fruit
of the Spirit is
love,Galatians 5:22-23" But
the fruit of the
Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness,
faith, meekness, temperance.
Against there is no law."
You see here that the fruit is love,
the rest
of the terms are all love in its
many different forms. For an example
joy is
love smiling in it's happiness,
peace is love resting in its calmness,
longsuffering is love waiting,
kindness is love showing itself sensitive to
others feelings,
goodness is love making allowances and sacrifices for others,
faithfulness is love proving constant,
gentleness is love yielding, and
temperance is love triumphing over selfish inclinations.
Since God is love, His
Spirit ripening in us
will always produce love in all its wondrous
varieties. I
could go on and on about Gods
love for there is a book on Gods love and
tells us
all we could know about Gods love.
If you interested in this book,
just pick up
your Bible that is God's Book of Love.
