3 Trees

There were three trees growing on a hill top, the first tree said"
when I get big and strong I hope that I may be made into
a treasure chest. Then I could be filled with
gold and silver and other treasures."

The second tree replied "While, when I grow big and
 strong I want to be made into a big cruise ship,
 so that I could bring great people over rough waters."

 The third tree said" I only want to be on the top of a hill,
where people could come to look upon me and see the glory of God."

As time went by the trees grew big and strong,
then one day some lumbermen came into the forest.
 One man saw the first tree and said
"I have the perfect thing to make of this tree.
 I will make a feed box out of it."
 So he cut it down and made a feed box from it.

A second lumberman came upon the second tree
 and said "I have the ideal tree for my project."
 And he hewed it down and made a small
fishing boat out of it. 

The third lumberman came and cut the third tree
down and it was place in a dark cellar for a long time.

That feed box was put in for the animals to feed out of,
but one night a man and his wife came to spend
the night. The woman gave birth to a male child,
 and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes,
 and place Him in the feed box.

This tree received it's wish that night
and held the world's most precious treasure.
That male Child is our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Years went by and the second tree that was made
 into a small fishing boat was crossing a small sea,
when a great storm came upon it and the
waves and wind was so that the people who
were on the small boat feared their lives
and woke the one that was asleep in the rear
of the boat who arose and commanded the
waves and wind to cease.

This tree received its wish, and carried our Lord
and savior, the greatest Man to walk this earth.

As years went on the third tree was taken out of the
dark place where it laid and was carried by a
form that looked human and was covered with
Blood this bloody form carried the tree to the top of a hill.
Where other men nailed the form to the tree,
 and placed the tree upright in a hole in the ground
 as the multitude of people watch,
 the GLORY OF GOD suffer on that tree.

The reason for this story is that no matter what
 you pray for God hears that prayer.
But in time you may see that your prayer
 has been answered, but different from what
 you had dreamed it would be. He will show you
 how your prayer was answered and you shall see
that He granted your prayer in an even
greater way then you could ever imagine.
